Making Some Progress??

Today was quite a lazy day for me. I spent most of the day on the couch sleeping, watching TV, and reading. I was so tired -- I didn't sleep for most of the night last night. I woke up around 2:00 and had regular contractions until about 5:00 -- not Braxton-Hicks, but contractions that felt like really bad period cramps. Finally, at 5:00, I decided to get out of bed and shower and then call the doctor. However, after I was up and moving, they kind of just went away -- must have been false labor. I have been having them off and on all day. I'll have one or two, then won't have any for like 20 minutes -- kind of frustrating, but at least I'm starting to feel a little different! The good news is that my body is showing some signs that labor could come soon -- I will spare you the yucky details! Maybe, just maybe, this baby will come before his induction date!

I'll keep you posted! I'm off to DQ for a snickers blizzard!

Rachel!!! I have been checking your blogs everyday - I thought for SURE Tanner would be here by now. :) Just want you to know I'm thinking about you guys and your adorable little family. I LOVE your blogs and can't wait to see pictures of your new addition.

Rachel!! Yes, you are SO close to labor. Whether or not the "false" labor is the real thing, it is definitely helping things "ripen" for gametime! How exciting... Prayers prayers, B :)

AHHHHH! Just like Stephanie, I check your blog ALL DAY LONG to see if there are any postings about Tanner's arrival. I wish I lived in Chicago so I could see the little guy as soon as he got here! But, since Beth will be having Baby Woods soon, I just might have to make a solo trip out there to see all the new family members! Our family is truly blessed, isn't it?!

Ok so I came across your blog by way of Angies "Daily Dose of Dentes" and I cant help but be excited for you!! I was in Vilseck too but left in 2003. We also just mooved to the Chicago area...hubbys on recruiter status. He is based out of Downers Grove. I feel your struggle with meeting new people. Rachel! I am so loving being able to read your updates. You are getting close and I promise you will know when it is the real thing. All of the "false labor" that you are going through now, though, is helping your body get ready for the big show. You will do awesome! Keep us posted! Good luck and lots of hugs!!
