I went to my first mom's club meeting today. It went pretty well and the women were very friendly. I think I'm going to like it!

I've been a little bit bored since the meeting ended this morning, though. I know there are definitely a few things I could do -- like go through the house and get all of the marks off the walls with a magic eraser or do some ironing. But none of that sounds very fun, does it? I guess I'll just do some reading instead. I'm very proud of myself. I actually went to the LIBRARY yesterday to get some books instead of Barnes & Nobles or Borders. It totally wasn't as fun looking for a book without a good latte, but that's okay -- it was free! I picked up these books:

The J.A.P Chronicles
The Thirteenth Tale
The Rapture of Canaan

They should keep me busy for a while! I'll let you know how they are! So far, I am enjoying The J.A.P Chronicles -- a fun summer read that requires absolutely no thought whatsoever.
