Please Say A Prayer ...
... for our beloved Nanny Kat (Rachel's sister) and Uncle Pat (Jon's brother) as they say goodbye to one another early tomorrow morning. Pat is leaving for his first 12-month tour to Afghanistan. We know from experience that tomorrow will probably be one of the hardest days of their married life together. We love you, Pat and Kat!

I think of them every day, and will continue to do so until he comes home SOON.
Prayers for both of them. Kat, my best piece of advice is to find amazing women to buddy with while he's gone. Those girls will be your lifeline, as your sister and our Carson friends were for me when all of our husbands were deployed. I would have struggled so much without them!
Praying for them for the next year! I will add Pat's name to our soldier pray list at church. Each Sunday we read the name of every soldier out loud and pray for them by name. It is pretty cool!
We are praying for both of them Give them our best during this challenging time!
