Bedtime Funnies

Lately, I'm finding that everything I say is coming right back at me! We had a little episode of that right before bed tonight.

Whenever Tanner wants something, he always repeats it and repeats it and repeats it until I do something about it. (I'm sure your kids never do this. Some people refer to it as whining.) He'll tell me he wants a snack 50 times in a row. So sometimes I'll say, "I heard you the first time, Tanner!" Tonight when it was time to go to bed, I told him to pick out two books and take them upstairs. Before I could say another word, he held up his hand and said "I heard you, Mom! I heard you!"

I thought this was hilarious. And I'm feeling a little encouraged that he actually listened to something I had to say! Going to bed on a high note tonight!

Lols...I think what I find hardest about discipling, is when they do something bad, but it's funny. Like when my little guy learned "no". It's cute that they have figured out that word, but bad that they are trying to be defiant.
