33 Weeks

This morning was my 33-week doctor's appointment. Everything looks normal and I'm feeling pretty good. I can't believe my due date is less than 50 days away!! WOW! After my next appointment, I'll start seeing the doctor every week -- that's how you know things are getting close! I'm so excited to meet this little boy, and I know Jon is, too. Tanner is another story, though. Every time I ask him if we should get a baby to come live with us, he says, "NNNNNOOOOOO!!!" And Jon is always asking him if he's ready to be a big brother yet ... "NO! NO! NO!" He totally doesn't know what's happening! I predict he'll be a completely jealous older brother, but also very excited to have a new baby around. Anyways ... for those of you who requested a belly shot ... here it is! :)

I can't believe you are so close already! Seems like just yesterday we were at the reunion and you were like 9 weeks or something. And, you look great! You have a little belly and that is it! I am going to be bigger than you and I am about 20 weeks behind! I better lay off the junk food. Loved the pic of Jon too. His belly is getting so big. Love and miss ya!

Rachel, you look awesome! All belly! Jon looks like he's doing well too! Ha! It might take Tanner a little while to get adjusted, but he'll have a brother and they'll be life long friends...just like his Daddy is with his brothers.

Rachel, you look awesome!! Tell Jon he's doing well too! :) Tanner will *love* his little brother, I just know it! As the due date gets closer, start talking about Landon's arrival really positively. Have T help out with setting up the car seat, helping with the baby's clothes, etc. Find little tasks that make him into your "big helper". If he gets a lot of praise and attention for positively adding to the baby's arrival, you'll set the stage for a wonderful babymoon! Kids at his age love to be helpers, so giving him that role will make him feel so important... You are probably already doing all this, but these are just a few ideas!! You know where you can find more--just holler! :) It is going to be great.

Oh you look so good, I'm jealous :). I think I was that "big" at about 4 months!
