Being in the market for a double stroller now, I am finding that it's much harder to find a good one than it was with a single. Every review I seem to look at begins with the words "There is no such thing as a perfect double stroller." That being said, do any of you moms of 2+ have a suggestion for a double stroller that you are happy with? Please share if you do, and tell me why you like it!

I don't find the need for a double yet, but I know B-mama likes the BOB Revolution? jogging stroller. She recommended it to a friend of mine in SC and she loves it. I believe it accommodates an infant carrier too. Maybe you need an extra piece for this. She might be able to tell you better.
Carolina Girl, you've got me pegged! :) BOB Revolution Duallie = best double jogger around. It currently serves as our only double at all... I've heard good things as well about the MacLaren double umbrella'ish one. I can't believe I'm officially recommending a Mac, but then again, the BOB is expensive too! :) A totally worthy investment--I have recommended it to many who love it!! Let us know what you decide!
I have the Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller and really like it. It collapses very easily and isn't too heavy - although it IS a double stroller, so it's going to be heavier than a regular stroller. I had the same issues as you, though, with all the reviews, and finally went with my gut and luckily, Wal-Mart had a Site to Store option for the stroller, so I didn't have to pay any shipping!
I don't know what its like, but they are giving away a free bumbleride double stroller over at inevergrewup.net hey its free. you should check it out.
We HAD the Eddie Bauer double stroller: http://www.amazon.com/Eddie-Bauer-All-Terrain-Stroller-Collection/dp/B000K52H5Q/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1232891029&sr=8-1
and HATE IT, don't get that one!!! It was so heavy that I'd need someone to help me get it in and out of our Explorer! Not to mention I couldn't steer the thing!
So, we just bought the a Baby Trend sit-n-stand. I LOVE it, so much easier to push, plus it gives Riley the option of standing and you can use most infant car seats in it and it's very reasonably priced. We probably would have gotten a BOB or a Peg if we wanted to invest A LOT of $$ into it, but couldn't justify spending that much (although I'm sure they're worth it). Good luck!
Rachel,
My inlaws just got us this one when Hayden was born. http://www.philandteds.com/sport_index.htm
I loooove it. The extra seat comes off the back, so if I do happen to take one child somewhere, there's no need to keep two strollers in my car. It's nice b/c it's the same size as a single stroller... important for me since I'm a pretty small girl! I've also heard good things about the BOB one previously recommended. Hope you find one you like!

I have two double strollers (both second hand, so I couldn't be too choosy - I was at the mercy of Cragislist and Garage sales!). Anyway, I have a Graco front-and-back stroller. It worked really well for when Clayton was a newborn because the one side folds all the way flat. Outside of that nice feature, I do NOT like it. It weighs a ton and feels really cumbersome and bulky to push and maneuver. It's also not the bast for transporting in and out of a car a lot. My second double is a Maclaren side-by-side umbrella stroller and I like that a lot more. I can relatively easily collapse and uncollapse it to get it in and out of the car. The only drawbacks - it doesn't work well for newborns. THe baby has to be big enough/strong enough to sit in an umbrella stroller (but those snuggle pads help get them into it sooner.). It also is hard to maneuver with one hand. Anyway, those are my 2 cents!
I feel your pain! We have 2 double strollers and I can't stand either one! We have a schwinn double jogging stroller (http://www.jogging-stroller-superstore.com/p/schwinn-free-wheeler-st-double-jogging-stroller) which is great for walks and trips to the park but it's too wide to go anywhere indoors. We also have the Kolcraft Double stroller (http://www.stroller.com/kolcraft-strollers.html?gclid=COjxkNeErpgCFQ9JagodqUqFVw) which seems like it would be the ultimate double stroller. Right now it's great because it holds our infant car seat and then I really like the options (kids can face eachother, face out, face you, etc). It has an enormous basket for shopping but it's a little long so even though it's narrow enough to fit in doors it's still hard to manuver because it's so long.
At this point if I had to do it over again I'd either get a MacLaren (http://www.maclarenbaby.com/us/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=107&Itemid=499) or a peg perego (http://www.pegperego.com/page.php?sid=818489fe15575276517f81857ecaecc4&pageid=UJVNL001&idf=05&idp=0000000163&cl=N). The peg perego will hold an infant carseat.
Good luck and I can't wait to read about what you decide
We have been through so many strollers it is embarassing. Currently I have a sit-n-stand that I think we got from Onestepahead.com.
I love that my son - almost 3 can sit or stand or it has a removable seat. But for my youngest - almost 1, she always has to sit up front and the sit is either all upright, or slightly declined. There isn't a ton of room but it works. When she was a newborn and I used the car seat adapter it was great!
I also have a chariot bike carrier/jogging stroller that I really like, except there is no divider between the kids which causes fights. Good luck!

This is the one we have. Honestly I did not use it much because Luke kinda outgrew the stroller and wanted to walk, but it did come in handy on many occasions. It is lightweight, easy to fold, but all of the doubles still seem gigantic to me.
