Ready for a Playmate

Oh ... to keep a little boy entertained. Another mom told me at MOPS this week the days with your children can seem SO LONG, but the years go by so fast! Good to remember as I collapse each night from the exhaustion of trying to keep Tanner happy and busy!

I've been working on the railroad ...

Mommy said I need to start pulling my own weight around here.

I'm being careful, I PROMISE!

Can you BELIEVE she's letting me do this? The floor is soaked!

Ahhh...I know exactly what you mean! To be honest, for me, having two has been much easier for me than just one! Weird, huh? Well, I got exhausted playing 12 hours a day, now at least I have much more do to than just play...plus Riley and Lincoln are starting to play together really well so it keeps them both occupied while I get things done around the house. I hope when Landon gets here you feel the same way!

I know what you mean about the long days but fast years! G is almost ONE now and I just can't believe it. But there are times in the day where I'm counting the minutes until he naps, eats, or bathes, etc. Seems like we play with EVERYTHING in five minutes and then it's like, uh...now what do we do?!

That is so true! I always find myself looking forward to bedtime, so that I can rest then I miss them once they're in bed.

Me too Elso! I miss him when he's sleeping! Ha!

My saving grace is that half of the day the boys are so immersed in their dual play that I get a break!! :) You are going to LOVE LOVE have two little boys, Rachel!! I am already counting down the months until baby J can join in. It is the best!

Ok so I know it has been ages since we have talked, but I didn't realize that I was nearly 30 weeks behind the times. Congratulations on the new little one who will soon be here. Tanner is so adorable and growing so fast. Much love, Jen Nevdahl

Hey Rachel,

I noticed you're still cloth diapering. I am too (and using bum genius). I'm curious...what is your washing routine and what kind of detergent do you use? Mine are starting to stink and I'm not sure why. Unless we have a case of the buildups.

Also...the only thing I find annoying is finding clothes to fit him right. Mine is already chubby enough and I can't find clothes to fit with the CD on him. any suggestions??

Thanks!
