BOY!!

Meet the newest member of our testosterone-filled crew:

Kellen Patrick

Isn't he just the cutest thing you've ever seen? I'm adoring this ultrasound pic of him and keep looking at it, thinking "I can't WAIT to meet you!!!" So sorry to keep you guys on pins and needles for an extra day, but yesterday turned out to be very busy as we left to visit the grandparents immediately following the ultrasound.

It feels SO GOOD to finally know who's in there! Everything looked good and Kellen appears to be a healthy little boy, which literally brought tears to my eyes. The 20 wk ultrasound is always an exciting event to look forward to, but I find the closer it gets, the more I worry that something will be wrong. What a relief to go through all of the body parts with the tech and hear that things look great!

I've decided that God is trying to compliment me as a mother by giving me another little guy. He must think I'm a pretty good mom of boys, which means I'm in good company (ahem ... Erin, Carolyn, B-Mama, and my own mother-in-law -- Henri). Jon is over-the-moon, as I'm sure you've guessed already. His chest has literally puffed about about 4 inches since yesterday morning. He keeps saying "This is so exciting! Aren't you so excited!!! THREE BOYS!!!!!"

We told Tanner after picking him up from preschool that they baby was a boy and he said "I knew it!!!" Too cute. Landon was in the ultrasound room with us, and kept saying "Tanner is missing out! Tanner is missing out!" Oh, how I love my boys and how blessed I am to have another one!

Thrilled for you all! What fantastic news--get ready for even rowdier evening football games, even faster races to the car, even more tears when someone doesn't get the blue bowl for breakfast... It's just life with three competitive boys. You're going to LOVE IT!!

OMG, I haven't visited your blog in forever and had to visit, because we are station at Ft. Campbell now and I met someone tonight, whom I was like: I KNOW you! But I didn't...I had only happened upon her blog many years ago....like in 2005...and she had been stationed at Ft. Carson, so I don't know how I found her original blog, but it reminded me of you...and it's so funny, because I can remember the last time I was checking out your blog, you were kind of thinking you guys were done...and lookie here! #3...so exciting, Princess Mama!
